5 Tools to Clean up Your Computer

Face it, after a short time, your computer starts filling up with junk that slows it down. Bits and pieces of programs left behind when you deleted or thought you deleted them. Maybe some malware or spyware lurking in the background. So you need to clean up your computer (no, not with air, soap, etc.) to speed it up and here are 5 great tools to do this.

The first tool, is a great little program that will defragment your hard drive. It works faster and better than microsoft’s defragger that you have on your computer now. You should defrag your hard drive once in a while to speed up the access time to your hard drive. Myself I do it at least once a month.

AVG Free is often regarded as the best free anti-virus software available.  It offers basic anti-virus and anti-spyware protection for your computer. I have used this for years and I recommend it to everyone.

Spybot S&D is one of the best tools to remove all of that spyware and make your computer more private and run faster. Another program I have used for years because it works. Every computer should have this program!

Ad-Aware does for malware what Spybot does for spyware. Yet another program I have used for years. Used with spybot, it does keep my computer clean as a whistle.
